- Is this correct ?
- ------------------------
- -MS/TCPIP doesn4t have sockets raw like Trumpet Winsock
-
- (If it is, how can I do a PING without it ?)
-
-
- Just another one.
- I was testing the WLPRSPOOLER with the Trumpet and everything was running
- after changing to the MS/TCPIP (Daytona) the spooling takes place, but it
- never ends in a normal fashion.
- Do you know of any problem related with this, maybe
- with the close and shutdown sequences ?

- I am looking for a WINDOWS/WINSOCK/SLIP mail reader that uses SMTP
- both ways (sending and receiving).
-
- Also, what are the pros and cons of SMTP vs POP?

- At the risk of sounding uninformed, doesn't this appear to be typical of
- a RESOURCE LEEK within the Windows environment. It's remenicient (sp) of
- a problem with an early version of Mosaic. Which TCP/IP stack are you using?
